Question:
I am replacing the original steel brake line on my 18foot boat single axle trailer. The line sprung a leak along the inside of the frame. The length needed is around 16. I plan on running the line inside the frame like the original line. How do I manage the excess line length? Do I coil it up and zip tie it? strap it? The original steel line has a coil just prior to the T junction that splits to the two sides. I dont need the coil with the flexible line.

Thanks for the photos of your trailer! To manage the excess length of the Kodiak Hydraulic Brake Hose # bh-3mgs-18 you can certainly coil up the excess and secure it with a zip tie. Another option is to route the hose along the trailer so that the excess line is used. However you choose to secure the excess hose, keep in mind that you will want to ensure that the hose does not hang down below the trailer's frame.
If you find that a shorter amount of hose can be used, Kodiak also offers a Hydraulic Brake Hose in a 15 Foot length, # bh-3mfs-15.
