Question:

DeeZee Specialty Series Trailer Tongue Toolbox - A-Frame - Plastic - 6 Cu Ft - Black Item # DZ91717P Will this box accept two 20-lb propane tanks and allow the lid to close? The specs say that the box is 17.75 inches tall and the propane tank is 17.8 inches tall. Also need 12x24inch space internally to accommodate the tanks. Thanks

I have a solution for you, but since you require a minimum of 12" x 24" to store these propane tanks, I don't believe that the DeeZee Specialty Series # DZ91717P is going to work for you since it's only 18" wide at the front of the box.

I think the best solution to store your propane tanks is going to be the UWS A-Frame Trailer Toolbox # UWS01039 which has 21" of internal height and 24" at the front in order to provide you with sufficient room to store multiple propane tanks. This is an aluminum, diamond plate design that will provide you a lightweight and more secure location to store your tanks on your A-frame trailer.
