Question:
I was compairing the 3 types of towing mirrors for my 2010 F150. 2 of them have a screw to hold the clamp in place. I was looking at part KS81810 and they look to just snap on. How secure is this one once installed? I noticed the warrenty was 3 months and I just want to know how well constructed they are. You have them listed at $50 from suggested retail at $100 and I dont want to find them on the side of the road. Thanks.

We have not had any complaints with the K Source towing mirrors, # KS81810. They are made from plastic, comparable to the construction of the other available mirrors. If it were me I would go with the CIPA mirrors, # 11802 and # 11801. the system that holds the mirror on seems more secure and these mirrors are the highest rated for your truck.
They also come with a 1 year warranty and are also made of scratch resistant ABS plastic. I have included a link to a video showing a typical application. As long as your mirrors look like those in the video or on the product page (except the last picture) these mirrors will fit.
