Question:

My RV is prewired for the Furrion camera. Will it work with the 2020 GMC camera package installed on the Sierra or can you only use echo master

We have yet to see any OEM camera on any pickup that is compatible with a Furrion system on the RV so you will need to use a Furrion camera system to utilize the wiring on your RV.

I recommend going with the 5" Monitor # FOS05TASF because you can add more cameras if you would like. For example, you can get either of these systems with the rear camera and 2 side-marker cameras with kit # FCE48TASL-05.

From what I could tell it looks like the EchoMaster system places the side marker lights directly under your side mirrors. While this isn't terrible placement, the side marker cameras that come with the Furrion system can essentially be placed anywhere along the side of your RV so you can get the best view possible during travel. You can also utilize this almost like a security system when at the campsite since the monitor is portable.

The new Chevy 2020 has a plug in the bed for a wired camera in camper and on back of camper. It would be great if furion came out with a wireless adapter that you could put in that plug to attach the wireless furion camera to the dash view of cameras. Is there such an adapter?

We do not have a camera system currently available to work with the camera input on the 2020 Chevys.

I agree with Greg E. Having a device that plugs into the camera jack in the rear bumper and receives the input from the wireless Furrion camera would be great.

I think we're all in agreement there. I really wish we had something like that at the moment. I'm sure it's coming though - and as soon as it's available we'll have it ready to go on our site!
