Is there a version of the AC unit which comes with the ACRG15 instead of the ACDB distribution box?

There isn't a full Advent Air Kit available that includes the Air Distribution Box # ACRG15 in place of the standard model, however you could piece together your own kit using the individual components. To match the contents of the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner Kit # ACM135CH you were looking at (except for the Air Distribution Box) you would just need part # ACM135 for the 13,500 Btu AC itself, # ACMHD for the Heat Strip, # ACMSCKIT for the Start Capacitor, and # ACRG15 for the upgraded Air Distribution Box in question.

I'm looking at upgrading my existing Advent AC135 (non-ducted) with a ACR15, I'm also looking at adding a heat strip ACMHD. Is the ACR15 a drop in replacement or do I need anything additional parts? Also does the thermostat on the ACR15 also control and regulate a temperature set point for the heat strip?

The Advent Air # ACRG15 will work as a clean replacement for your existing panel. Nothing else is needed for this install. The heat strip can simply be turned on or off. Once the camper is warmed up enough you'll need to manually switch it off - it cannot be controlled by the thermostat.
