Lost purple door key. Lockset on door has an M on it. Does that help?

Since your door key is purple it is very likely the lock is a global link RV lock however I would need to know the number from the key to get you the correct replacement. The only real option would be to replace the entry lock because it is not possible to just switch out the lock cores on the global link locks.

I recommend Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit with Keyed Alike Option part # 295-000019 which is a very common RV entry door latch kit. It fits doors that are 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" thick and installs into a cut out that is 2-1/2" wide x 3-1/2" tall to 3" wide x 4" tall. The actual dimensions of the lock are 3.47" wide x 4.28" tall so you may want to measure your existing latch to make sure it is the same or close.
