Question:
Hi I have recently mounted the Draw Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver code-76138 on my 2019 Mazda CX-5 GTR. I am noticing a rattling sound when I go oven rough roads. I checked the trailer hitch for the tightness of the Bolts and they seem to be fine. I presume that the muffler and trailer hitch are coming in contact, kindly let me know if there is a way to eliminate this rattling. Best

Exhaust rattle is fairly common problem with hitch installs that can easily be fixed. Since exhaust systems are designed for slight movements they don't always sit in the same spot on every vehicle, so when a hitch is designed for a vehicle the hitch might sit close and not rattle on one vehicle, but on another vehicle the clearances might be different and the exhaust might hit the hitch like what you are experiencing with your 2019 Mazda CX-5 with the # 76138. The solution is basically either bending the exhaust hangers so that the exhaust has more clearance or go with a different length isolator.
To see how to address the exhaust rattle you are experiencing check out the video I attached.
