I need to know how much the tray weighs on it’s own to see if my vehicle can handle this?

The entire # CC-255 weighs about 56 lbs. If you're wanting to know the approximate weight of the semi-rectangular tray portion only, according to Stromberg Carlson, the tray weighs a bit less than 15 lbs. Most of the weight is in the brackets.
