Wiring Harness For 2019 Toyota RAV4 To Tow Small Utility Trailer

Question:

You have two options available for me to purchase for my new Rav4. One is manufactured by Curt and the other by Tekonsha. I have a small 4x8 utility trailer which I can drag around my yard by myself. So a light utility trailer. The problem I cant go as fast as my rav4 and need to have running lights, stop and turn signals. Is the Curt all I need? Most IMPORTANTLY will installing this create any risk to my warranty with Toyota? They now have a wiring harness that costs quite a bit more and would install for three hours of labor. Really? I have a professional that will install your harness for me.

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C56434 will work well to power the lights on your utility trailer towed by the 2019 Toyota RAV4. Both brands will work and really the only difference is the brand.

Installing the wiring harness will not void your warranty on the RAV4 because you are protected under the Magnussen-Moss warranty act that states, in part, that if you install an aftermarket part on your car then it will not void the warranty unless that part caused the problem.
