Replacement Stereo Recommendation for Concertone zx600

will 292-101079 unit replace the concertone zx600 ? If not what do you recommend other than the $400 unit or is that it?

In order to determine which replacement is going to be best, you'll need to know how large the mounting opening in your RV is. It looks like the Concertone ZX600 is a fairly large unit compared to most of the standard double-din radios available so the iRV # 292-101079 might be a good fit. The iRV Rv Stereo # 292-101079 fits in mounting holes 9" long x 5" tall x 5" deep. This is a 3 zone system that plays radio signals, CDs ,DVDs, and via HDMI, AUX/USB, Bluetooth inputs.

If you can give me the size of the mounting hole in your RV and let me know how many zones your system is, I can confirm whether or not this will fit and may be able to give you some other alternatives.

@CalvinR Thanks for getting those measurements! I checked our current stereo options and unfortunately we don't have one that's a direct fit for a 6-5/8" wide x 9-1/2" tall opening. The iRV # 292-101079 we originally discussed requires a 9" wide x 5" tall opening, so some modification would be necessary. You'd need to widen the existing opening and then use a trim or filler panel to cover the remaining space above and below the new stereo.
