Question:
My 2008 ram 1500 Quad cab 2WD has CURT 16419 Custom 5th Wheel Brackets look and install almost like the Reese Fifth Wheel Installation Kit - RP50040-58 . My question is will the Firestone Ride-Riteinch 2286 Air Bag kit install on the truck

In order to install a set of airbags on your 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD with the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit part # C16419-204 you will want to use the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57257. The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2286 would likely require modifications and would not be a direct fit out of the box due to the upper bracket. That said, the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs are just as good as the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs so this is what I recommend you use instead.
