Question:

Hello...I just purchased this model companion 5th wheel adapter for my 08 Ford F350. I just purchased this vehicle as well. It already had the gooseneck attachment installed. Upon installing the companion into the gooseneck, the companion doesnt go all the way down to the bed of the truck. The socket post is too long. Is there a shorter socket post that can be used which will allow the base to rest on the floor of the truckbed?

The B&W Companion Slider Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # BWRVK3400 is a direct fit for the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # BWGNRK1108 that you have on your 2008 Ford F-350, there is no adapter required nor available. If the socket post does not allow for the legs to sit on the bed floor then you just simply need to adjust the feet.
