Is it possible to obtain parts to convert a StickUp rack to a HoldUp rack to minimize frame damage?

Although the spines for the (discontinued) Yakima StickUp 8002420 and the Yakima HoldUp part # Y02443, or # Y02443-2 look similar, the brackets that the wheel holder trays connect to are different enough that you'll need to change to a HoldUp or similar wheel-mount bike rack to avoid frame contact on your bike(s).

If you only need to transport 1 bike then Thule has their T1 # TH9041.

For a more cost-effective bike rack that secures bikes by the wheels we have the Kuat Transfer V2 2 Bike Rack # KU74FR. This is compatible with 1-1/4" and 2" hitch receivers, has a weight capacity of 40 lbs per bike. The Kuat Transfer V2 is a middle-of-the-road kind of bike rack company so it has a nice, mid-range price for it as well.
