I do have an option for you but your 2019 Volvo XC90 is not permitted for use with a weight distribution system like the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System. This is most likely due to how the trailer hitches for your XC90 like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C53HR attach. Therefore, you will need to tow without a weight distribution system.
That said, if you want to be sure you don't run into issues with trailer sway which I will say is a major reason as to why so many people use them then what you can do is purchase the Tuson Asymmetric Sway Control # 335TSC-1000 that way you won't have any worries here. This device uses the trailer brakes to reduce sway and is a one time only setup. Therefore, you won't have to mess with it every time you go to couple the trailer like you would for a weight distribution system so it saves time.
If you don't already have a wiring harness and brake controller then you are going to need the following:
T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118683
7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation part # ETBC7L
Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180
The reason I recommend the Curt Echo is because it cuts down on install time dramatically because you don't have to run any wires into the vehicle, splice into the stop light switch circuit behind your brake pedal, or run power wires from the cab to the battery.
