Is there a hitch available for a Volvo XC90 plugin hybrid 2024, primarily for a bike rack?

There sure is Joseph. To add a hitch to your 2024 Volvo XC90 Plug-In Hybrid, I recommend the Stealth Hitches item # SH27FR. This custom fit hitch comes with all hardware necessary to complete the installation.

The main crossbeam of the Stealth Hitches item # SH27FR is going to install behind your Volvo's rear bumper cover. It comes with the removable 2" accessory receiver that has a 600 lbs tongue weight capacity. So plenty of a capability for a bike rack. When you're not using the hitch you can remove the accessory receiver and your Volvo will look like it doesn't have a hitch installed.

What kind of bike and bike rack do you have? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.

We installed a Stealth hitch on our 2022 Volvo XC90 in 2025 and not attached a Hollywood Bike rack to it to transport our 2 electric bikes. The rack is about 48# and the bikes are 70# each (140#). We just drove up the Oregon coast, stopping to ride along the way and the hitch worked great! Had it installed are our local service shop for the Volvo, not the dealer and they did a great job. Have not yet removed the "hitch" coupling to make it "stealth" as we use it frequently for local bike trips. Seems very sturdy and works well for what we are doing. I would recommend the hitch and E-Trailer as they were great with the pre and post sale questions!
