Recommended Cable Tire Chains for a 2019 Ram 3500 Dually

Question:

I have a 2019 dodge ram 3500 dually, as well as a big tex 40foot gooseneck trailer. Just wanted to know about which chains are a good fit for truck and trailer. Preferably wire, chains are just a pain

There is one very important bit of information that I need to recommend snow tire cables and that is the size of the tire you will be using them on. I was able to research online and found that a 2019 Ram 3500 Dually is equipped with 235/80-17 tires so if that is the case then you can use the Titan Chain Diagonal Alloy Cable Snow Tire Chains part # TC747DC. I recommend using one set on the rear outside tires but you could also use a set on the rear inside tires as well as the front tires if you like. That said, the rear outside tires are a must and will provide the most grip. The v-track pattern used above is much better than the common ladder pattern as you have more of a contact patch.

In regards to the Big Tex 40 Gooseneck Trailer, I was not able to find an exact tire size for all models but it looks like some came with a 235/80-16 so if this is what you have then I recommend the Glacier Snow Tire Chains part # PWH2219SC but if you have a different size just let me know what that is. It would be best if you have a cable on each of the tires for the trailer.
