What Pressure Should 235/85-16 Trailer Tires Be Filled To

Question:
I have a 2017 GD Solitude 384 GK 5th wheel. It came with 235/80R16 10 ply tires and rims with a 80 psi inflation rating. I had the tires changed to 235/85R16 14 ply tires on the same rims, they call for 110psi max air inflated. The tire store filled them to 80 psi, should they be inflated to the new max of 110 psi that the tires are rated at or left at 80 psi? Thank You,
asked by: Ken S
Expert Reply:
Tire manufacturers advise that trailer tires need to be filled to the max psi listed on the sidewall of the tire while cold. Your new tires should be inflated to the 110 psi when cold. That pressure will fluctuate as you use the tires and the temperature changes.

I did the exact same thing Ken s did . Had st 235/85r16 90 PSI g rating 10 ply And went with st 235/85r16 14 ply 110 psi tires. My question is can the stock wheel or rim Jayco 2021 ht eagle bdhs 29.5 fifth wheel handle the pressure increase. Discount tire inflated them to 89 PSI when the called for 110 PSI cold.
