Surco Safari Roof Basket to Fit 2008 Jeep Liberty

Question:
I dont have nor particularly want to buy cross bars to mount a new roof basket to, but desire to purchase. Your Surco looks solid and has accessories I want. Can you ensure me it will fit my 48inch wide on-center rails that are approx 53inch long? Am I missing something? I do want the max sized basket/rack thatll work from Surco. Please advise.

I talked to Surco to be sure and actually the 50 inch basket, part # S5050, is the recommended size for your 2008 Jeep Liberty. The 60 inch, part # SPS5060, might fit but I can't confirm it.
To fit the basket on your rails you need the clamp-on adapters, part # SP1101, as well. The adapters and 50 inch basket combined is part # SPS5050-1101 and for the 60 inch basket it's part # SPS5060-1101.
If you can tell me which accessories you're interested in adding to the basket I can point you in the right direction for them as well.
