I was curious if I could use these on a Curt Roof Basket Item # C18115-117 to securely lock it to my corssbars

The Yakima Locking Mounting Brackets # Y07064 are designed to allow secure installation of one of their own rooftop cargo baskets, such as # Y07070, # Y07070-74 or # Y07080-82. These locking mounts are designed specifically for the dimensions and spacing of the bars used to construct their baskets.

The Yakima locking brackets are intended to replace the top half of the standard mounting brackets that come with the LoadWarrior. I went to our warehouse with an associate to check both the Yakima and Curt baskets to compare their construction. The bars on the bottoms of both the Yakima and Curt baskets are 0.54-inches in diameter and are spaced apart 3-3/4-inches on center. Please refer to the linked photo I prepared for you.

We then did a test-fit of the Yakima locking bracket on the Curt basket hardware. With some slight manipulation (gentle pressing of the Curt u-bolt) the parts mated correctly and should work well together on your Curt cargo basket.
