Can the Malone Anti-Rattle HitchLock System Be Used With a Weight Distribution System

Question:

Have TV 2007 Nissan Frontier towing 2008 AS 17 ft Safari Sport w/ GVWR 3500 #. Will this piece help with anti sway and WD function of my hitch. Any disadvantage of installing one?

The Malone Anti-Rattle HitchLock System part # MPG908 will help hold the shank of the weight distribution system inside the receiver tube more securely. Therefore, you won't have as much side to side or front to back movement with the shank portion. I have attached a photo of this device used with a weight distribution system. The only disadvantage of this is that it is an extra step each time you go to install or remove the shank.

If you are having issues with your weight distribution system then please let me know what one you have as I may have other advice to help with said issues. Also, be sure to verify the weight capacity and that you are not over or under this as that can cause sway issues as well.
