Why Would Lippert Slide Out Switch Seem Easy to Overload with Amperage and Fail

Can you tell me what amperage this switch is rated for?

Are you having a problem with your relay/switch blowing when installing a new switch? This is a common issue with the switches like the part # LC117461 and the problem is not the amperage rating and is actually the pin out of the relay as some switches use the same design but a different pin out and if you use the wrong pin out the switch fries. This switch is for the LCI Above-Floor and Through-Frame Slide-Outs so you'll want to verify that's what you have.
