Cushioned Equalizer Replacement for 13-10 Dexter Equalizer

Question:
You have stated that the Dexter k71-652-00 kit will replace a 13-10 dexter equalizer but the 13-10 is 4 inches tall and 6 1/16 wide. The ez flex looks to be only about 2 1/2 inches high and is 5 5/8 wide. It looks comparable with putting a Dexter 13-104 equalizer in. You say it will lower the trailer 1 inch but since the equalizer height is less it seems that it would not have the springs level that I thought is unfavorable. They would angle up since the spring hangers at each end would be using the original hole. I want all wet bolts in my suspension. Can I put wet bolts on a 13-10 equalizer if I didnt go with the ez flex? If so what parts would I need? I have 5200 lb axles with 25 1/4 inch 2500 lb capacity springs.

The better fitting equalizer upgrade solution we have for you is the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279688 which has a distance of 7-1/2 inches between the outer holes and a vertical distance of 4 inches. This will be the closest in dimensions to what you have so it will fit and not allow the height of the trailer to change. This also matches the weight capacity of your trailer too.
Then for wet bolts you'd want the part # LC126197 and you'd be set.
