How Long Does Battery Usually Last on Trailer When Powering a Winch

Question:
How long will a winch run off a deep cycle battery before it needs to be recharged. Also, can I hook the winch to some jumper cables to run it off my car battery.

That's a hard figure to give as different winches draw different amounts of amperage and they also draw different amounts of amperage based on how close to the capacity the winch is at. A handful of hours is commonly the amount of time for most applications.
You could power the winch from your car battery with jumper cables too.
