Replacement Paddle Style Handle for a Wells Cargo Trailer

Question:

My Wells Cargo trailer doors had the Versch style paddle handles with the plastic bezel and assembly parts. They are now broken of course, because they're plastic, and I cant find a replacement handle that fits the 6 1/2inch x 4 7/8inch holes currently in my doors. Any expert advice?

As you have come to find out, the paddle style handle you have on your Wells Cargo Trailer is very large and they just don't make anything that large to replace this nowadays. The largest paddle style handle we have is the Paddle Handle Locking Latch w/ Release part # PLR5115 which installs in a 4-5/8" long x 3-3/8" tall cutout and is made of metal so it wont break. Therefore, in order to make this work for you, you would need to fill in the remaining space but aside from this I just don't have any other options for you really.

Hello. I have an older Wells Cargo TW101 enclosed trailer with the same paddle latch/lock pictured. What I am looking fir is the strike, a gray plastic piece that is mounted on inside of side door frame. I have a photo if needed. Thank you
