Question:

Is the 2006 Montana 3000RK pre wired for a back up camera or do I have to run a new line from the 7 pin plug ?Is there a wiring schematic for this unit? I plan on using a Magellan RV /GPS with the wireless backup camera which mounts to the rear license plate .

Your 2006 Keystone Montana 3000RK was not pre-wired for a backup camera. You will need to either capture constant 12V power for the observation camera from the running light circuit or you can capture power from just the reverse light for use only when vehicle is shifted into reverse.

I don't have a wiring schematic for your trailer, but I recommend capturing the running light power from the license plate light to power your backup camera. You can use the circuit tester # PTW2993 to ensure you splice into the correct wire for power. You won't need to capture that power all the way at the 7-way as the wires are already run close to where you want that 12V power.
