How to Recharge the Battery on Hopkins Engager Breakaway Kit With Built-In Charge

When I push the tester button the red recharge light comes on what can I do

Since the red light comes on with your Hopkins Engager Push-To-Test Trailer Breakaway Kit w/ Built-In Charger # 20099 it means the battery does not have the proper charge, and thankfully this is very easy to remedy.
All you have to do, as evidenced by the cut out of the linked instructions I added, is connect your trailer plug to your tow vehicle. After about 20 minutes or so the battery on the Engager will be charged and you'll be set.
