For future reference, if you ever need to know what the towing capacity of a vehicle is, the owner's manual will be the best place to look. It looks like all models with the trailer tow package came with trailer wiring but only some also have a trailer hitch. If you do not have a trailer hitch then I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13395 because of the hidden design in which only the receiver tube is visible (see photo).

Also, if you will be towing a trailer near 3,500 lbs then odds are it has brakes which means you also need a brake controller.
