Can Stationary B&W Companion be Used with Short Bed on a 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty

Question:

Is my BWRVK3500 usable on my new 2019 Ford F-250? It is a standard bed with a BandW turnover ball hitch. What parts would I need to make this combo work?

The B&W Companion # BWRVK3500 will fit with the B&W Gooseneck Hitch # BWGNRK1116 whether you have the 6-1/2' or the 8' bed. The only problem you would have is if by standard bed you mean 6-1/2' then you may not have enough clearance in tight turn situations and you could possibly damage the cab of your 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty. Some newer 5th wheels are coming out with a tapered nose design.

If your 5th wheel has this then you could possibly get away with the stationary Companion but if you don't have this you simply need to swap out the base you are using from the stationary base # BWRVB3500 with the sliding base # BWRVB3405. This gives you that ability to slide the hitch head back 12" which gives you enough clearance to avoid hitting your cab for up to 90 degrees of turning clearance.
