Question:

I need to know the measurements for where the two bigger bars are that go lengthwise. How far from the edges of the basket and how far apart, including the bars themselves. I have a very small area to put one and just knowing 23 inches wide overall isnt good enough. I need to know exactly where those two bars would fit in. On the picture, it shows dark lines to show which bars Im talking about.

I contacted the manufacturer for you, and was told the Yakima SkinnyWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket # Y07014 measures 11" from outside to outside of the middle bars. Then from the outside of the basket itself to the inside of the closest bar is 7" (the bars in the middle are 1" thick).

This basket is 23" wide overall, as you mentioned, and 58" long, though you can add Extension # Y07016 to get an additional 16" of length. I do recommend adding Same Key System (SKS) Locks # Y07064 so you can lock the basket to your roof and protect your investment.
