The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2016 Kia Sorento to use with a cargo carrier is the Draw Tite part # 75908 because it has plenty of tongue weight capacity for your cargo carrier at 500 lbs tongue weight and also does not require the use of a stabilizer strap when carrying a non-supported load like a bike rack like what the Curt hitch for your vehicle requires. Then for a carrier we have the folding Curt option part # C18151 which will work great. It measures 24x60 inches and can fold up when not in use to help with clearance behind the vehicle.
