Question:
I was about to purchase this Immobilizer III until reading a couple of the reviews concerning poor fit, and one specifically pertaining to the inability to hold up to the potential weight the hitch on the reviewers F350 SuperDuty will take, which is what I have. I have looked on the site for an alternative for a 2.5inch to 2inch anti-rattle that works in all directions instead of just vertically, but Im looking for a needle in a haystack. Can you provide part numbers for alternatives? Thank you!

I do have one other option for you to help stabilize what I assume is a 2" ball mount being used with a 2-1/2" to 2" sleeve inside a 2-1/2" receiver tube. For this, I recommend using the Gen-Y Anti-Rattle Clamp part # 325-GH-063 between the receiver tube and sleeve and the Gen-Y Anti-Rattle Clamp part # GY88XR between the sleeve and ball mount. This device would apply pressure is all directions and you don't have to worry about heavy duty towing capability.
That said, there is really no substitute for a ball mount with a 2-1/2" shank as you are going to have some play no matter what anti-rattle device you use. Therefore, if your budget allows for this then you would be much better off with the Flash E Series HD Adjustable 2-Ball Mount part # FA42-00-2625.
