Question:
I have a 2015 Chevy Silverado HIGH COUNTRY 4X4, 5.3L which has a 2” front leveling kit. I’ve also changed out the 20” wheels for 18”. I thought I read that the #F2430 is not compatible with the High Country. If this is correct, why not? I tow a travel trailer and am looking for a little additional assist for my Anderson weight distribution system and fixing the “sag” and tow safety angle. I didn’t have sag until I added the level kit. So, can I use the #F2430 on my High Country and, is it a viable solution to my towing issue?

There are air bags that fit the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country but the Firestone Air Bag Kit part # F2430 does not install on the High Country model. I contacted Firestone and this particular air bag kit does not fit because the High Country sits up too high. He could not guarantee that the bags would install even with smaller wheels.
The Air Lift LoadLifter part # AL57204 does install on the High Country model and helps to level out the rear of the truck. The leveling kit in the front of the truck probably pushed the weight to the rear of the vehicle which made it sag. You can add the suspension enhancement to the back of the truck or remove the suspension enhancement in the front. Adding Air Bags does give you some adjust-ability of the ride height so you can match the rear height with the front of the truck.
I recommend Air lift Load Controller Compressor part # AL25592. The Air Lift Load Controller allows you to air the bags up without stopping at a gas station for air or carrying around a bulky air compressor with you.
You also may want to make sure your Anderson weight distribution system spring bars are properly rated for the tongue weight of your trailer. If they are underrated for the weight of the trailer the system does not properly distribute the weight and can cause sag.
