Updated 04/24/2019 | Published 04/23/2019 >

My old tag light has a white wire and a black wire. My new tag light has just a black wire. What should I do with the white wire?

Expert Reply:
Run the white wire on your trailer to the mounting bolt of the new license plate light. Your current light ground through the mounting hardware so you'd just need to connect the ground wire there and you'd be good.
