what prevents my towed jeeps battery from being overcharged by using part # RM-156-25

The Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 only supplies up to 15 amps which help you to avoid overcharging the battery in your Jeep. The kit provides a trickle charge which means that it is basically enough to keep your battery from draining completely. I like to pair this charge line kit with the Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. I have attached a wiring diagram for the 6-Way connector that you can check out.

If you don't happen to have a charge line on your motorhome you can use the charge line kit # RM-156-75 on that end as well.

Please note that a complete flat towing setup also includes a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. If you do not have all of these components just let me know what the year and model is of your Jeep and I can make some additional recommendations for you.
