I need to be able to open the cargo door when a carrier is installed? What do you recommend?

Expert Reply:
I recommend using the 20 x 59 Curt Cargo Carrier # C18150 with the Yakima BackSwing # Y02483. This combination allows you to swing the carrier out and away from your vehicle. I have attached a review video where you can see this allows room for the rear of a Jeep with a spare tire to open up. If you go this route you will need a pin and clip like part # C21500 or a locking option like part # 63232. For a cargo bag that is close to the internal dimensions of this carrier I recommend the Curt # C18211.
