I have a 05 chevy silverado 1500. My dad left to me after passing away found the grille gaurd in his shed that use to be on it problem is it has no mounting hardware for it he took it all off and mounting hardware also please help

Grille guards are vehicle-specific, which means they only fit certain years, makes and models of trucks, even if you had the correct mounting hardware. From the photo you sent in (thank you for that) it looks that is a Westin Sportsman Grille Guard and it would need to be the Westin Sportsman Grille Guard model # 40-1175 in order to fit a 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500.

If there is any way you can verify this is the guard you have there is replacement hardware, the Replacement Mounting Kit for Sportsman Grille Guard # 40-117PK.
