Question:

Wow I read your specs. Does the awning kit come complete ready to use after installation? Do I need the other parts identified in your specs. I need a 16 footer. I like the idea of ur product. Will reduce carrying weight. Is the awning installed the way as a spring power one How much for an electric roller. Where do i get power? Can it be powered by a 120 electric converter in my car with an extension cord.

The Solera Hybrid RV Awning Kits we offer come with almost everything that you need. I am not sure what you mean by reduce carrying weight but it will add about 80 lbs to your trailer. The manual awning head is not spring loaded, it is driven by a set of gears (see photo).

In regards to the powered awning kits, we offer the Solera 18V Power RV Awning part # LC730492 for white fade or part # LC729486 for black fade which uses an internal 18 VDC battery as well as the Solera Smart Arm 12V Power RV Awning part # LC405492 for white fade or part # LC517486 for black fade which uses the trailer's 12 VDC battery. If you were to use a DC/AC converter you could then hook up the awning to a standard 110 VAC outlet.
