Question:

I have a lifted 2015 Rubicon with 37’s. I purchased a Roadmaster All Terrain two bar from you with the bumper D ring mounts. My concern is even with a hitch riser receiver I am beyond a three inch variance from the hitch to the D ring adapter brackets. Should I install a bracket kit which will put everything closer to alignment? I have a winch with an aftermarket poison spider brawler light front bumper. My Jeep is the white one in the picture. Thank you for your help,

In order to determine if there is a high-low adapter available that will allow the towbar to be within 3" of level, you will need to measure from the ground to the center of the d-ring's on the vehicle and compare that distance to the measurement from the ground to the center of the trailer hitch on the motorhome. If this distance is not within 3" of one another then you will want to use a high-low adapter until you are. The most amount of rise/drop we offer in a high-low adapter is 10", part # RM-048-10.

Therefore, if the above distance is more than 13" then you will indeed need to ditch the d-ring adapters and use a standard base plate kit like the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # RM-521448-5. However, in order to make sure there won't be any issues with your aftermarket bumper you will need to take a look at the install instructions which are attached to make sure they do not mount in the same location.

I have attached a photo of the above high-low adapter being used to flat tow a lifted Jeep like yours as well.
