Question:

I have a set of Seasucker Monkey bars. I want attach my Yakima kayak cradle and rollers. The issue is the Seasucker bars circumference is larger than the Yakima. This prevents the Yakima clamps from working. Please help me find a solution. Thanks!

I do have an option for you but the round bar adapters included with the Yakima Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs part # Y04083-04082 are designed specifically for Yakima Round Crossbars which are 1-1/8" diameter. The SeaSucker Monkey Bars Roof Rack part # 298-SX6000B that you have are about 1-1/4" diameter so they cannot be used together which it sounds like you are aware of.

I wish I had some sort of other adapter that would work for you but currently the only option we have for you would be to use a Yakima Round Crossbar Roof Rack like Yakima SweetRoll Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs # Y04074. The easiest option would be to just cut your losses with the Yakima carrier and use the above Rola carrier but if you can let me know the year, make, and model of your vehicle I will be happy to see if we have a Yakima Round Crossbar Roof Rack for you.
