Question:
What is the difference between Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range C Part Number: KE48KV and Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range C Part Number: AM10199

Hi Marty; the main difference between the # AM10199 and # KE48KV is the tread. The # AM10199, which is their KR03 tire, is the better choice for paved roads. This tread will also have better performance on the road in wet conditions. The tire also has the lower maximum load at 1,360 lbs at 50 psi.
The # KE48KV, which is their KR35 tire, is the better choice for mixed terrain. This tire has a max load of 1,375 lbs at the same 50 psi. It is also 0.2" narrower. Realistically the size difference and capacity are negligible. More than likely your trailer is spending all of its time on the road so I would choose the # AM10199.
