Troubleshooting Blank Screen on Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller

Question:
I have a P3 brake controller in my 2013 Tundra. Yesterday the screen went blank. Its getting power and a consistent backlit screen when pressing buttons but no text of any kind. I dont have a trailer attached, Usually the screen reads Teknumsha when the trailer is not connected please help! Thanks

If you are getting a blank screen on your Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller # 90195 you might just need to reset the unit (as simple as that might sound). Try unplugging the controller, waiting for about 15 minutes, and then plugging it back in. This should reset the system and resolve the blank screen you are getting.

I see the same issue on mine I just re-installed the unit for the summer and have a plug and play connector. First display was fine now it dont display any information unless I flex the connection on the back of the unit. If i move the connection on the back of the unit it will display on and off. It seams like a bad connection at the back of the unit but can't seam to resolve it. I bought the unit with the Factory connection cable.
