For your 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, I recommend starting your flat towing system with the Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit # DM9519340. These custom fit base plates will work very well with the Demco Commander ii Non-Binding Tow Bar # DM9511012 which comes with the safety cables needed and has an integrated high-low adapter that will give you up to 3 inches adjustment. The tabless system is a really nice feature Demco has patented. You may want to consider the Demco Tow Bar Storage Cover - Vinyl # DM9523042 for additional protection during storage.

Then for your tow bar wiring I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 along with the charge line kit # RM-156-25.

Finally, I recommend the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251 which will apply the brakes to your Jeep at the same time and with the same pressure you hit the brake pedal in your motorhome. This system is a customer favorite because of its extreme ease of use. Once the initial adjustment is made at install this system is an out of the way, plug and play system that literally only requires a flip of the switch. This switch changes modes from drive to tow and nothing else is required.
