Replacement 5-Way Connector for Ranger Boat Trailer

Question:

Hi i need to replace my five way flat plug on my Ranger boat trailer sometimes it wont let me back up so i jiggle the wires and it works so i want to replace it. It says taylor on it and has seven wires going into it two red, one green, one white, one yellow, one green/black, one yellow/black.

For a replacement 5-way we have the Hopkins 5-Way part # HM47913 which will work great. This even has circuit testers for each wire so that you can easily make sure everything is working properly.

Wiring configuration on # HM47913:
Green: right turn signal (RT), you'll run this to where the green wire was connected.
Yellow: left turn signal (LT), to where yellow wire was connected.
White: ground, to white wire connection.
Brown: tail light and side marker lights (TM), to both the green/black and yellow/black connection
Blue: backup/reverse lights (BU) to the two red wire connections.
