Will BedRug Custom Truck Tailgate Mat # BMQ17TG Fit Tailgate with Drop-In Tailgate Pad

Question:

Hello, I have a 2019 Ford F250. The truck has a factory in plastic liner and tailgate protector. I called bedrug customer service and the lady told me this will not work over the factory plastic tailgate protector. Will the velcro stick to the plastic or fall off. I see in the description for the item that it should work. Please let me know. Thank you,

The Velcro that holds the BedRug Custom Truck Tailgate Mat for Trucks with Bare Beds, Spray-In Liners or Drop-In Liners # BMQ17TG will work well to attach to a drop-in style tailgate protector. The adhesive of the Velcro will work just as well attached to a drop-in liner as to a tailgate without one. I am not sure if the lady you spoke with was confused but this product was intended for exactly what you have so I am not sure why she would state differently.
