How to Pair Furrion Wireless RV Camera to Monitor

Question:

I got a S7 camera system for Christmas and just have connected the rear camera. I have not connected the door or side cameras. When I tried to pair the rear camera several times it failed? Do I have to have running lights on? Do I have to be in reverse to pair?

Expert Reply:

Try holding the button on the bottom of the camera for 2 seconds and the camera should then pair to the monitor as long as everything has power. I attached a picture that shows the button.

Purchased a 2019 Heartland Big Country prewired for Furrion camera system. Can I hardwire and hookup to my 2017 F350 Sync 3 system for a back up camera. I know Ford sells their own version but I already have the housing installed on the back of my 5th wheel. I am trying not to have another screen on top of my dash.

As of right now there are no other cameras that work with the Ford Sync 3 system. We have other kits available that you can use with your Furrion prep package, that we recommend to people all the time. When they are not towing their camper they just put the screen in their center console. The best part about using the Furrion kit over the Ford factory kit is that the Furrion kits are going to be wireless and it takes minutes to get the monitor and the camera to communicate. The Ford factory kit is going to require you to run a cable from the camera on the back of the camper, on the roof, and down to the plug on your truck. The wireless Furrion kits we have are # FOS07TASF, # FOS43TASF, # FOS05TASF and # FCE48TASL-07.
