The flange (lip) on the side of the LaSalle Bristol 17" x 20" Lavatory Sink part # 34416270PWA is 1-3/4" wide whereas the flange on the front is 3/4" wide. I have attached a photo of this for you as well. Please note that the 17" x 20" dimensions are the overall dimensions from flange to flange, not just the bowl.

RE: Lasalle Bristol 16 270PW 16 x 20 White Oval Sink I purchased this sink and about to install it. Can I used Plumber's Putty, for sink to counter connection. I assume it needs some kind of sealant, although it doesn't look as though the existing one has any (no sign of links either) ??? Thank you,

I definitely recommend using a silicone sealant to install the LaSalle Bristol # 34416270PWA.
