How do the undercount flanges secure to the sink?

The mounting hardware that comes with the LaSalle Bristol Single Bowl RV Bathroom Sink # 34416270PWA essentially acts as a clamping system. The screws will insert through the hole in the tabs and then into the threaded locations on the underside of the sink (see attached photo).
The top flange of this sink will sit on your counter and take on the weight while these tabs just help keep the sink from shifting around.
