Best Bike Rack for Electric Bikes on a 2016 Volvo XC60

Im looking at the Kuat NV 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4 Hitches - Tilting - Gunmetal Gray In the videos it appears that for this, the trailer hitch attached to the underside of the vehicle seems to be made specifically for the rack. Is that the case and would I need to make sure to buy a trailer hitch that is specific to either of these racks?

You can use pretty much any bike rack with any trailer hitch so long as the receiver tube opening is the same size as the rack's shank and you have bumper clearance on the vehicle. They do not make trailer hitches specifically for certain bike racks nor do they make bike racks specifically for certain trailer hitches
There are 1-1/4" and 2" versions of the Kuat NV 2.0 so we just need to make sure we get the correct one that matches the size of the receiver tube you have on your vehicle. If you have a 1-1/4" receiver tube then you will use part # NV12G. If you have a 2" receiver tube then you will want to use part # NV22G.
If you do not already have a trailer hitch receiver on your 2016 Volvo XC60 then I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76116 because it has the least recessed receiver tube opening which will give you the most bumper clearance.
