Question:
Can you tell me the minimum clearance BELOW the crossbars for the Yakima clamps to fit and function properly? Thanks!

The Yakima SkyBox 12 Rooftop Cargo Box - 12 cu ft - Black Carbonite # Y07334 doesn't have a specific minimum clearance below the crossbars because each fit will be slightly different. My contact at Yakima estimates that the very minimum would be 2 inches between the bottom of the bar and the top of the roof, but to be safe you will want to consider 2-1/2 inches as the minimum so you can ensure the fit.
