Question:

So this much I know - The Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator # DM8609502 measures 4 inches at the smaller opening and 15.313 inches at the larger opening. This actuator is for drum brakes, is rated for 8,000 pounds towing, and is made in the USA. What I need to know is what is the measurement from the front smaller 4 opening to the back larger 15.13 opening. This brake actuator is exactly what I am looking for albeit a little overrated since my trailer is only 1850 lbs. Nonetheless the length of this actuator is critical to ensure enough surface contact to weld to my trailer A-frame tubes. Can you provide this please?

Demco Hydraulic Drum Brake Actuator # DM8609502 is a standard 50-degree A-frame coupler-actuator rated for 8000-lbs trailer weight as you noted. It has a primed finish and is intended for weld-on installation.

I went to our warehouse and measured the front-to-back length of the main triangular mounting plate, from the narrow forward end to the wider back end. This front-to-back length is 12-inches and this is shown on the linked photo along with some other key dimensions.
